Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.
Summers spent helping out in his father’s audit practice not only gave Spyros some much appreciated pocket money, it also gave him insight into a fulfilling future career. Heading off to study in the UK, he graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Northumbria University. This was followed up with a master’s in computer science from University College London. After training with a Big Four firm, he was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Spyros is also an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus.
IN THREE WORDS:
Bursting with optimism, Spyros is simply irrepressible. Approaching each task with a smile and focused responsibility, he never comes off second best. Spyros loves working with Constantinos Meivatzis whose ability to juggle many different priorities at the same time is inspirational. He is in awe of Petros Petrides’ astonishing energy and work ethic – his ability to stay sharp and fresh no matter how long the day defies conventional logic.
Spyros devotes his weekends to his family. With an extremely energetic toddler in the house, and another super-lively four-year-old prince, there is never a dull moment and he enjoys spending as much time as possible with them and his wife. When he does manage some time alone he hits the gym for a stress busting weight-lifting session. Late into the evenings he burns the midnight oil working on his PhD in film studies – combining his passion for prose, performance and celluloid.
