Mary Seymour is a Client Manager for First Names Group in Ireland.
Blessed with a brain for numbers and a heart for people, it’s no wonder that Mary not only manages the accounts, but is also always accessible to intermediaries and clients. She is well suited to this role as she has the combined experience of accountancy training and general industry client focus skills. She efficiently resolves even the most complicated problems, applying perfectly structured plans to achieve ambitious, yet practical deadlines.
People know you for what you’ve done, not for what you plan to do.
Mary is ambitious by nature. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in her home county at University College Cork, she continued to sharpen her skills. Mary is a qualified teacher and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Having trained in a mid-tier accountancy practice, she gained valuable experience as a financial controller at a number of specialist small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s). Mary thrives on the pressure of turning a job around quickly and has led by example since joining the Group in 2013.
IN THREE WORDS:
Mary is always happy to help other people and, with her warm, cooperative nature, people are happy to ask her for help.
FIRST MUSICAL INSTRUMENT: PIANO
Being exceptionally musical and wanting to become a music star as a child, Mary decided to name her dog Bruce in tribute to the legendary Springsteen – the Boss! She loves a challenge and so, as a competent pianist, decided to take up the guitar. Mary counts New York as her favourite destination because there is always so much to do there and the sheer variety of activities keeps her busy.
