Don’t live to work, work to live. Find the balance.
A native of Scotland, Jean moved to Jersey in 1994 and has worked for various independent trust companies. She has particular expertise in the challenging yet fascinating world of entrepreneurs, which keeps her on her toes professionally. Jean is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). She has a Certificate in Offshore Administration and an Investment Manager Certificate (IMC) in the Investment Environment.
IN THREE WORDS:
When it comes to her colleagues, Jean enjoys working alongside Laura Kyle with whom she’s developed a strong bond of support and trust. She also admires Matthew Chambers and his wealth of knowledge when it comes to compliance and risk.
Despite not being keen on flying, Jean once wanted to be an air hostess. Her first job though was in fact in a gas turbine engineering company, where she developed her razor-sharp wit. In her spare time, Jean listens to a broad mix of music – from pop, to rock, to opera – and enjoys spending time with her family and cooking a nice Indian meal. A true patriot, her favourite place in the world is Scotland, although she is not a fan of the haggis.
